ELSTER AND CRANFIELD UNIVERSITY COLLABORATE TO APPOINT NEW ELSTER METERING LECTURER
Elster announced today that it has formed a long term partnership with Cranfield University in the UK for future water metering projects with the appointment of a new Elster Metering Lecturer.
The new Elster Metering Lecturer will be a member of the Process Systems Engineering group in the Department of Offshore, Process and Energy Engineering in the School of Engineering. His time will be split between lecturing as a part of the University MSc programme and conducting joint academic research.
“We are delighted to have expanded our existing relationship with Elster with the appointment of an Elster Lecturer in Metering Systems. We look forward to working with Elster to build on this appointment by developing new research opportunities in the future,” said Professor Minoo Patel, Head of the School of Engineering.

We see a number of exciting opportunities for research and innovation which will lead to long term growth for both organisations,” said Philip Crowther, Elster’s water metering global head of design.
