Configuration tool ALPHASET

The program alphaSET is a tool for reading the data of the alpha meters (register data, load profile data, logfile etc.). The reading can be done via the optical or electrical interface of the meter (20mA, RS232, RS485).

In addition, alphaSET allows the changing of the set parameters and, if necessary, parameterization parameters of the meter according to the user profile. Set parameters are configurations that can be changed without cancellation of the authorisation. (Changing parameterzation parameters means to carry out a new authorisation after it.)

The tool supports a simple remote meter reading application, operated by using standard communication lines (PSTN / GSM / LAN/WAN).

The program is a 32 Bit application, based on a 32 Bit area. It is running under nearly all Windows operating systems.
